This Revolutionary Marriage course is a full marriage conference. There are over seven hours of video and several interactive activites for couples to complete as part of the course. The activities will give you hours of work and practice together to help improve your relationship.
The material in this course follows the outline of the Revolutionary Marriage book.
1. We will first discuss the historical challenges with marriage and what makes marriage a sacred relationship.
2. We will explore what having a "Safe Marriage" means - specifically how to repair damages and work through forgiveness and reconciliation.
3. We will look at ways to make marriage Stable and ways to live our "re"commitment.
4. We will discover how ultimate success in marriage is based on bringing "new life" into the marriage.
5. We will conclude looking at making marriage a Vocation - a spiritual calling.
Your marriage is a holy union. It is both a space where the unique natures of being male and female can be enjoyed and reflect the image bearing characteristics of God. It is also a place where sacrifice and death to self create a "oneness" -- where grace is modeled. It is the territory of deep intimacy. It is not easy. It is not for the faint of heart or starry-eyed romantic. It is a sacred vocation.

Dr. Mark DeYoung, LMFT wrote the book Revolutionary Marriage and developed the marriage conference materials for this course.
Mark DeYoung is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 27 years’ experience counseling and helping families and children. He holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and PhD in Child Development. He currently provides counseling services for families in the Fort Worth region of North Texas. His private practice includes the following counseling services: Marriage Therapy, Family Therapy, foster family therapy, adoption work, missionary team consulting, parenting support and coaching. Dr. DeYoung has provided training and organizational consulting in a variety of environments, including churches, missionary teams, non-profits, schools, and child care facilities. He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Mark has been married to Patricia for over 30 years. They have two daughters, Rayna and Rebekah.
